Khim's first-ever ARFC hat-trick propelled landslide victory

Thanks to Khim’s first-ever hat-trick for ARFC, ARFC continued its winning streak with a comprehensive victory over Bluesalt FC.

Prior to kick-off, ARFC was faced with player-shortage problem but thankfully a few ARFC warriors turned up at the 11^th –hour.

In the 11^th min, Chua, who has been putting in superlative, solid and consistent performancssince he joined ARFC, whipped in a right-wing cross. Hee dashed in and glanced a header into the bottom corner of the net. 1-0 and this was his 107^th ARFC goal.

In the 27^th min, from a corner, Blackburn flicked the ball to the far post. Toh came charging in like a raging bull to power the ball goalwards but their defender handled his header on the line. Penalty!

Haron stepped up and his spot-kick proved too powerful for their GK who got a hand to it but was unable to keep the ball out. 2-0 and this was Haron’s 231^st ARFC goal.

In the 39^th min, Darren, who always played like Paolo Maldini, laucnhed a long throw which caused chaos amongst their sea of defenders. The ball then fell nicely to Khim who pushed the ball to his favourite left foot before slamming the ball past their hapless GK. 3-0 and this was Khim’s 54^th ARFC goal.

ARFC then conceded a goal 7 mins from the re-start. 3-1

In the 67^th min, Darren released a through ball to Khim down the left.  Khim brought the ball forward before drilling a low shot across their GK for his 55^th ARFC goal. 4-1

While being substituted, Khim requested to be the penalty-taker if ARFC was to be awarded another penalty as he has never scored a hat-trick before in his illustrious career, which clearly indicates what a team and selfless player he is and has been.

In the 75^th min, Khim came on to replace Chun Haw who suffered cramps after working his butt out.

In the 77^th min, Khim curled a beautiful bender just outside the box but the ball missed the goal by 0.77 mm.

In the 87^th min, came the goal of the match.  After a series of intricate passes between ARFC midfielders, Khim, who was outside the box, passed the ball to Hee who returned the ball to him.  Khim then switched the ball to Blackburn on the right, and continud his run goalwards. Blackburn read his movement and passed the ball back to Khim.  Skipping past alast-gasp desperate challenge from their sweeper, Khim nonchalently flicked the ball past their GK for his first-ever hat-trick for ARFC!!! 5-1 and this was Khim’s 56^th ARFC goal.

With this latest feat, Khim became the latest ARFC warrior to enter the ARFC Hat-Trick Scorers List!  Congratulations!!

Before the euphoria can die down, Darren passd the ball to Soon who was at the edge of the box.  Their GK parried Soon’s fierce shot but the rebound fell nicely for Guoxiong to slap the ball home. 6-1 and this was Guoxiong’s 25^th ARFC goal.

Guoxiong’s goal also moved him on level terms with Kiat on 25 goals.
