ARFC made a worse start when it conceded a penalty. 0-1.

Determined to make amends, ARFC pushed hard and was quickly rewarded with an equaliser.

Nova’s long throw from the right was headed back to him by their defender.  Killing the ball with a great first touch, Nova sent a high ball back into the box and Chun Haw leaped higher than their defender and GK to head home a brilliant glancing header.

1-1 and this was Chun Haw’s 118th ARFC goal, moving him past ex-legend Speedy Hee’s 117 goals for ARFC and is currently at 5th position of ARFC’s all-time top scorers list.

ARFC then conceded another goal to trail 1-2.

Chun Haw and Wei Lit then combined down the left that saw Chun Haw moving into the left hand side of the box.  Shaping to shoot, Chun Haw lured the opponent into a tackle when he cut inwards with a clever shimmy and was upended in the box.

Haron stood up and duly sent their GK the wrong way with a composed penalty.

2-2 and this was Haron’s 284th ARFC goal.

At the 22nd min mark, Sebastian made 6 substitutions with Darren, Allan, Elvis, Rashid, Lip Sen and Alvin replacing Nova, Chua, Toh, Soon, Sebastian and Haron respectively.

ARFC was conceded a break-away goal. 2-3 now.

Straight from the re-start point, Chun Haw showed incredible vision when he spotted their GK off his line.  With a powerful swing of his boot, he struck an incredulous ball that sailed perfectly over their GK that stunned everyone, including the many hot babes playing at the Padel Ball courts beside the pitch!!!!

3-3 and this was Chun Haw’s 119th ARFC goal.

The opponents then scored 2 more goals. 3-5.

ARFC did not give up at all.

First, Lip Sen sent over a delicious ball from corner on the left to the far post.  Chun Haw was lurking and he stole in and thundered home a bullet header that almost burst the net!

4-5 and this was Chun Haw’s 120th ARFC goal.

It was also Chun Haw's 11th ARFC hat-trick!

Not fully done, Chun Haw then scored his 4th of the match when he was brought down in the box after charging in with the ball.  He dusted himself down the ground and drilled in a high diagonal penalty past their GK.

5-5 and this was Chun Haw’s 121st ARFC goal, putting him just 10 goals behind Sebastian’s 131 ARFC goal at 4thposition.

Unfortunately, ARFC could not hold on and conceded 2 late goals to lose 5-7.

Despite the loss against a good team that could pass the ball well and get into spaces, ARFC did very well and every ARFC warrior played good and all gave their all on the pitch.

We could have scored another 2-3 goals but just could not find a good footing on those chances.  Jeremy also did very well with several brilliant saves.

The star of this match has to be, of course, Chun Haw.  Scorer of 4 goals and creator of another goal, Chun Haw played like a demon possessed (may be it’s the ghost month now) and was totally unplayable.
