ARFC missed 3 penalties in same match of the first-time in 3-0 win

Rebounding from its totally undeserving 3-4 loss last weekend, ARFC played with renewed fire, belief and conviction to easily dismiss Chill Pill 3-0.

In the process, ARFC also created history for missing 3 penalties in the same match!!!

ARFC also missed the ever-present Derrick who had been sacrificing self for the team when he volunteered, and excelled in many many matches, as a GK for ARFC.  Super credit and kudos to him!

ARFC welcomed back Ismail who had gone MIA for god-knows-how-long.

In the 7^th min, Guoxiong spotted Chun Haw’s forward run from deep and released the ball to him. Doing a great Mo Salah’s move and goal against Tottenham Hotspurs recently, Chun Haw dribbled past 2 bewildered defenders before smashing the ball into the net for his 68^th ARFC goal. 1-0

In the 17^th min, the same combination between Guoxiong and Chun Haw reaped dividends yet again.  Chun Haw did a clever and quick 1-2 with Guoxiong before thumping the ball home. 2-0 and this was Chun Haw’s 69^th ARFC goal, putting him level with Robin.

In the 27^th min, Chun Haw grabbed his 7^th-ever hat-trick for ARFC. Picking up a loose ball from outside the box, Chun Haw did a Steven Gerrard by taking the ball down in his stride before rifling it past their hapless GK for his 70^th ARFC goal. 3-0

In the 37^th min, Darren rose highest to nod home a corner from Blackburn.  However, the referee somehow ruled that their GK was fouled. Unlucky for Darren.

The 40^th min mark began the history-making match for ARFC.

ARFC was awarded a penalty after Alvin was hacked down by their GK.  Alvin stepped up but sent his spot-kick wide!  1^st penalty miss!

In the 57^th min, Alvin was held back by their GK. In the ensuing penalty, Blackburn’s penalty was guessed rightly by their GK who dived to his right, no pun intended, and palmed the ball away. 2^nd penalty miss!

In the 77^th min, Chun Haw was clumsily upended by their defender.  This time round, Darren stepped up and rued his bad luck again when his paneka-kick down the centre was easily picked up by their GK who did not bothered to move at all. 3^rd penalty miss!

In between all these actions, Ismail came up with 2 saves despite having virtually nothing to do the whole match.
