ARFC overcame a stubborn opponent

Dear ARFC warriors:
In a match played in front of 77 paying fans at Stadium de ITE AMK,
ARFC overcame a stubborn and youthful opponent 3-1 with goals from
Kiat Gulam, Haron and Khim.
ARFC started gingerly in the first 17 minutes and was under
relentless pressure from the opponent. However, the introduction of
Toh quickly put ARFC at ease. ARFC then started to play football
that ARFC is renowned for.
In the 27th min, off a quick counter-attack, a string of pass
exchanges between Khim, Hee and Haron resulted Kiat Gulam being
released inside the penalty area. Kiat Gulam, who seemed to be
enjoying a rich vein of form lately, placed the ball past their
keeper expertedly for a 1-0 lead.
Experience told in the 2nd half as ARFC dominated the entire second
half. In the 57th min, a superb ball down the left wing from
Blackburn ??? put Khim thru the flank. As expected from Khim's high
standard, he delivered a fantabulous ball to the far post to ARFC
topscorer Haron who connected with a flying header to put ARFC 2-0
up!!! Wonderful goal!!!!
In the 67th min, ARFC went 3-0 up after a exquisite thru ball from
Kiat Gulam to Khim who easily shrugged off their back-pedalling
defendeer to put ARFC 3-0 up.
In the 77th min, ARFC conceded a goal after some slack defending on the right.

In the post-match interview with Man-of-Match Kiat Gulam, he was
asked why he seemed to be playing extremely well lately. Kiat Gulam
then sheepishly admitted that he had cut down on the 7-times weekly
visits to the various health centres and am now determined to focus
on his career with ARFC so as not to let the 777,777 ARFC fans
worldwide down.
Views welcome.....
